Mobilisation & youth engagement consultant for SPARK project
CAN Europe is looking for a mobilisation consultant to support the engagement of mobilisers and youth in the activities of CAN Europe under the Spark Project, with a particular focus on stimulating engagement focused on mobilising EU citizens and specifically youth around the issues of climate, development and gender. Further to these specific focuses, the geographical focus of the work will include local, regional, and European level activities.

The successful candidate should be experienced in developing communications strategies, narratives and key messages for advocacy and campaign work, and content creation for the communications products.
Energy Transition Analyst
CAN Europe is currently seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and results-driven Energy Transition Analyst to join our team in Brussels.
The successful candidate will actively contribute to advocacy and campaign efforts in line with the CAN Europe vision for a fully renewable energy system through: 1) acting as a technical expert for the ongoing update of the Paris Agreement Compatible (PAC) scenario and the development of PAC country specific scenarios, including preparing recommendations for energy infrastructure needs, working closely with the Energy Scenario project manager and the Head of the energy 2)providing targeted and strategic analysis relevant to the energy transition towards a fully renewable energy system, helping identify policy and campaign implications in close cooperation with other policy and campaign coordinators in the CAN Europe team, as well as with members and partners 3)leading CAN Europe input to processes related to energy network planning and development and energy systems transformation, including the European TYNDP scenario process.
