From 6–9 June 2024, millions of Europeans will cast their vote in the European Parliament elections, to have their say in shaping the direction of the EU’s climate and environmental policies.
With the planet on track towards an alarming temperature increase of 2.9C compared to pre-industrial levels, with Europe warming at an alarming pace, and with high levels of environmental pollution and degradation – the decisions made at the polls this June will have long-lasting implications for Europe’s future and our collective ability to meet climate goals.
There is a lot at stake in this election – so make sure to visit ballot box this June and vote for a fossil-free, socially just, and climate-neutral European Union!
