Ahead of the Economic and Financial Affairs Council, 10 October 2025, CAN Europe and members sent this letter to EU Finance Ministers, the European Commissioner for Economy and Prosperity, and to the attention of the EU Climate Ministers and the European Commissioner for Climate, Net Zero and Clean Growth.
The letter sets out recommendations for the EU’s approach to international climate finance at COP30, in its bilateral and multilateral financing and engagement in international finance processes.
