To subscribe or unsubscribe for one or more of these working groups, please fill in the application form. By subscribing to the CAN Europe mailing lists you agree to provide your personal data to be stored and used by Climate Action Network (CAN) Europe to communicate with you in line with our role as network Secretariat. You will also be added to shared mailing lists according to your preferences in the mailing lists application form. The shared mailing lists are used by CAN Europe network members to communicate about relevant campaign and policy developments. We will not share your data with any third party.

All important updates, announcements and information will be sent to this mailing list. Also topics that are not covered in the other mailing lists will be discussed here. POLICY LISTS CAN Europe Carbon dioxide removal Mailing List This mailing list is used to share information and thoughts on various ways to remove co2 from the atmosphere. CAN Europe Climate and Trade Mailing List This mailing list is used for information sharing and strategy discussions at the intersection of trade and climate policies. CAN Europe Effort Sharing Regulation (ESR) Mailing List This mailing list coordinates the work on the Effort Sharing Regulation (ESR) – covering emissions outside of the ETS sectors: buildings, transport, agriculture, small industry and waste. CAN Europe Energy Efficiency Mailing List This mailing list coordinates the work on Energy Efficiency, covering both implementation of existing policies (EED) and further development of the post-2020 energy savings policy framework. CAN Europe ETS Mailing List This email list coordinates the work on the Emission Trading system, industrial decarbonisation and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and related issues. CAN Europe EU budget This email list coordinates CAN Europe members’ work on the post-2020 EU budget and other public finance instruments and institutions. From discussing political and communications strategy, mobilising around key moments in the legislative procedure, to coordinating on joint reports. CAN Europe EU Climate Finance Mailing List This email list coordinates the work on European countries’ policies related to all climate and development issues, such as international climate finance, climate mainstreaming, sustainable development goals and support to adaptation in developing countries. CAN Europe Forest And Agriculture Mailing List This email list follows up the work around European policies to reduce emissions from forestry and agricultural activities in Europe. This mailing list also covers LULUCF CAN Europe Fossil Fuel Subsidies Mailing List This email list facilitates the sharing of news and updates on national, European and international advocacy and campaigns aimed at ending public support for production and consumption of fossil fuels. The focus of this list is mainly on subsidies in Europe, but also includes information on issues that relate to fossil fuel subsidies outside of Europe (like export credits from EU Member States). This email list is also open to people outside of the network CAN Europe gas mailing list This email list follows all the discussions around gas at national and European level. CAN Europe Governance Mailing List This email list will coordinate the work of CAN Europe members on governance related issues. It will be the place to discuss the policy developments, information sharing and implementation of the National Energy and Climate Plans (NECP)? (national) Long Term Strategies (LTS) and the EU and national Climate Laws. CAN Europe Methane Mailing List This email list will coordinate the work of the Policy Working Group on the EU Methane Strategy Plan. CAN Europe Post 2020 Mailing List This email list coordinates the work around increasing the EU and national 2030 ambition, including the revision of the EU’s nationally determined contribution and its submission to the UNFCCC and the consequences on the ambition level of implementing EU legislation. CAN Europe Renewable Energy Mailing List This email list coordinates the work on Renewable Energy, covering implementation of existing policies, discussions about the 2030 renewable energy target and vision on a 100 % renewable energy supply. CAN Europe UNFCCC Mailing List This email list coordinates the work on the international climate negotiations, focusing mostly on the UNFCCC but also covering all other international meetings and developments. REGIONAL Mediterranean Cooperation Joint email list of CAN Arab World and CAN Europe on Mediterranean cooperation FUNCTIONAL LISTS CAN Europe CANFund Mailing list This email list supports the CANFund database and is used to share information on fundraising within the CAN Europe membership. CAN Europe Comms Mailing List This mailing list serves as a place for communicators to come together and share communication opportunities, narratives, and strategies as well as communication outputs within the network. CAN Europe Climate Litigation Mailing list that aims to exchange information and provide communication support for the climate litigation actions in Europe.This mailing list is also open to people from outside of the network. EXTERNAL email lists 1 Europe Coal This email list coordinates the European work around phasing out coal, and is managed for the European coal network which includes both CAN Europe members and non-members. Rather than establishing our own list, this list serves as the place to communicate about coal issues in Europe. If you’re working on a day-to-day basis on coal, you can apply for subscription to this list via Magdelena Klarenbach (klara@caneurope.org ). Just send her an email. 2 Balkan Coal This email list coordinates the work around the Western Balkans Coal issues and Energy Community, and includes both CAN Europe members and (mostly) non-members. Rather than establishing our own list, this list serves as the place to communicate about the Western Balkans. Contact viktor@caneurope.org if you want to be added. 3 CEE Green Deal Mailing List This list coordinates the information exchange on energy and climate national policies, stories and activities among representatives of CAN Europe members and partners from Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria that are relevant for different CEE countries and whole region.
